I just came across this kids editorial for Vogue Paris (Dec – Jan 2010-11) called Cadeaux and it caught my attention immediately. First of all, I do find the kids super cute and glamorous but after reading the negative comments, I was quite surprised. Apparently some people think that this editorial exploits kids in a sexual manner and i can see where they are coming from.
But i have to say, it really depends on how you see it. I think that it’s more of an expression of creativity tossed in along with fashion and photography. I personally like how the photographer Sharif Hamza managed to capture the different angles and to even get the kids to pose like that, which is certainly not easy at their age! Anyway, that is just what i think.
What about you guys? What do you think about this kids editorial?
For some reason, i’ve always seen Charlize Theron more as an actress than a model. I’m not sure why, and i’m guessing its because of how her acting career took charge in the past years, such as her greatest ever performance in Monster (omg, i could not believe that was her under all that costume make up) and that sweet romance movie Sweet November with cutie Keanu Reeves. But this month’s cover of Elle France totally blew me away! Charlize Theron was the cover girl and looking as beautiful as i can last remember. I’ve not noticed much of her in the media lately so its great to see her looking this good again:) She still has it in her, that’s for sure!!! Still so glamourous, sexy, and looking ever as natural……..:)
If you ask me, i’ve not seen sleeping beauty as sexy and dreamy as this!!! Im currently coming down with a major headache and a sore throat so i’ve been resting up too but boy, i wish i looked like this when i’m in bed, lol. This “Bedtime Stories” editorial was photographed by Perla Maarek who i’ve just learned about and i say i like her stuff:)
