Beauty Diary: Orangy lips

Lately i’ve been really into the orangy lips and i can’t think of any better time than now to embrace this summery color!!! As the temperature rises along with fashionistas everywhere bringing out their sandals, min skirts, tank tops, it’s hard to resist not putting on some bright orangy colors to those lippies!!!

This is a perfect summery lip color to put on whether you are going out with your girlfriends, meeting your hot date, or having a special family gathering.  It’s the ideal  make up kit for any occasions if you ask me! In fact, I reckon the organy lip is the new deep red lips!

Fall Beauty Trend – lips

With the days becoming shorter and the weather getting chillier lately, i feel a sudden urge to shift gear and chuck out all my summery make up products  so i have an excuse to buy some new fall make up products!!! Okay okay, so i won’t suggest you to chuck out everything that shows a tint of summer  but at least get it kick starting by stocking up on your fall beauty products.

For me, i think lipstick is a necessity and you can easily make a dull face look all freshened up just by adding some colors to those lippies. Here are a few of my favorite fall lipstick trends that i am loving right now.

My Chanel Valentine

Chanel’s latest  Rouge Coco Shine lipstick collection is surely showing signs of some Valentines infused sweet romance!  Their pretty in pink shade named “Boy” is every soo pretty and just perfect for the upcoming “love” day so be quick to snatch one and impress your boy! And if you’re single, you sure as heck should get it and  impress yourself with your well deserved lovely smile! 

And here’s a little sweet fact for you. The lipstick is named after Arthur Capel (aka Boy), Coco Chanel’s lover. Ah……the romance in it all!

Tom Ford has a go with the lippies;)

Tom Ford really has no stopping when it comes to fashion or beauty and the launch of his new lipstick collection just proves this fact. The lipstick collection is  called The Private Blend Lip Color and as he puts it, and i quote  “This is my take on 12 classic lip colours. I took the most universally flattering colors that a woman can wear, and then I reimagined them in a modern and authoritative way. These are signature lip colours for the makeup connoisseur.” (source:Fashionism)

Apparently it was just launched in Europe this month and will be hitting Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue and Bergdorf Goodman once it launches into the states on June 1st. Although, bare in mind that this small little golden white beauty stick costs a whopping $45!!!! Then again, its content of moisturizing Brazilian murumuru butter and soja seed extract is enough to maky my dry lips want a piece of it:)
