Its a Thursday night and my 5 days Easter break has finally started, and i feel completely lazy to blog tonight, lol. Soo…..as a little Easter treat, i decided to post up some wonderful photos of my fav Japanese Pop singer NAMIE AMURO!!!! For those of you who dont know her, she was a big hit back in the 90’s with songs like “a walk in the park”, “body feels exit”, “can you celebrate?” and the list goes on. Dont get me wrong, she’s still big in Japan and continues to promote herself religiously. But I have to admit and i actually even feel bad for saying this, i havent really been digging her music lately as her style turned towards American wannabe RnB, lol. Despite all that, she is still looking gorgeous and did i mention, she’s 33 and with a son who’s around 10 or so!!!! Gosh….so envious, lol. Ohhhh and she’s actually one quarter Italian incase you wonder why she looks abit mix;)
One of my fav songs by her – Say the word (she looks so gorgeous in the MV!!!!)
I love loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee her latest album!!! Namie is sooo pretty and gorgeous!! I got the album while travelling in Taiwan:)
Love this Vidal Sassoon Shampoo commercial with her song “My Love” taken from her album
As many Namie fans may know, she has been promoting for the major hair shampoo brand ‘Vidal Sassoon’ (VS) for quite some time now, where Patricia Field is the person behind as Namie’s image stylist. Im not surprised at all that Patricia is the person responsible for Namie’s wardrobe and I’m sure you will agree when you see her outfits in the MVs. All of the songs featured in the MVs and commercials were selected from Namie’s solo single 60s,70s,80s, which was released on March 12th, 2008. Each MV and commercial had a theme and was directly linked back to the different years that her single titled. As I am in a really good mood today, I have uploaded all of the MVs here so you guys can enjoy it all in one go!
One of the photos from her latest VS Commercial
Namie Amuro is launching her solo single ‘Wild/Dr’ on March 18th so stay tuned all you Namie Amuro fans!!!!! This is her 34th solo single and its the first ever single in 2009. Below are the photos for her single cover.
She has also recently collaborated with Coca Cola to promote the Coca Cola Zero drink. I found the commercial on youtube and thought I had to share it with you guys! Please notice how Namie does the peace sign at the end of the commercial, its just sooo cute:)
