I couldn’t help but notice all the Autumn collections appearing everywhere in my face and yet, it’s freaking 30 degrees in Hong Kong right now!!! It’s pure madness.
Everyone is probably already in shopping mode for their autumn/winter clothes or bringing out all their sweaters and boots. But I’ve noticed hats being a big fashion accessory during this chilly season, which is quite a pity for me as i normally never look good in hats! I’m still on the watch out for a stylish yet classic hat that i can wear for a lasting time.
Are you a hat lover or hater? And what type of hats are your fave?

Paris Fashion Week is finally over and i must say, it passed by much faster than i expected. There’s always such a rave about Fashion Week and lately i’ve been bombarded with numerous online photos from the runways showcasing the latest collections in fashion. Sure, the clothes and models look amazing but you know what? I think its the accessories as seen on Paris Fashion Week that deserves a much needed attention because lets face it, there were clearly some wacky accessories that’s too good/wacked to be missed!
1. Haider Ackermann 2. Ann Demeulemeester 3. Yves Saint Laurent
4. Balenciaga 5. Alexander McQueen 6. Chloe 7. Lanvin 8. Miu Miu 9. Miu Miu
10. Givenchy 11. Lanvin 12. Theirry Mugler
While everyone were fixated and had their eyes glued on the newest collections of fabuluous designer clothes during Fashion Week runways, i beg to differ. Now that’s not to say that I don’t think the clothings aren’t lust worthy because they so are! It’s just that there are other smaller things that matters too, and needs some loving:) And just what might that be? Look down on your keyboard right now and you’ve got your answer – your lovely nails!!!!!!!
Yes, go ahead and call me a nail-holic junkie and i’ll have no hesitation to be at your services, to talk about nail polish that is:) I’ve always loved doing my nails and not to mention its for free, and i’m always up to see what sort of new nail color trends to experiment with. I know that alot of women tend to neglect their nails and i’m sure it’s not done on purpose but they ohhh so deserve some love and respect too, ya know?
Now i know it’s only Fall and that Spring is nowhere near but i thought that these nail polish colors at the S/S 2011 runways for NY Fashion Week just rocked it! I’m already onto the DKNY orange nails and its a great color just as we’re approaching Halloween! I ‘m definitely gonna try out the 3 layered color nails as seen on the runway for Betsey Johnson. Betsey always does crazy and out of the ordinary things and think its what keeps her going so you keep doing your thing! I’ve actually already tried doing my own nails in 2 layered colors so it’ll be interesting to see if i can master it to the next level, lol.
Which nail colors will you fab fashionistas be sporting this Fall? Fess up as i’d love to know!!! And lastly, are you a hardcore nail-holic junkie like me?;D

I know that Fashion Week has already come to an end and that i should leave it at that. I tried hard to stop myself from posting runway photos as the entire fashion blogosphere has already done so but as expected, i just couldn’t resist and gave in to my fashion cravings, hehe. I decided to make it short and sweet and only share two of my favorite runways, Jil Sander SS11 for Milan Fashion Week and Lavin SS11 for Paris Fashion Week. Btw, i snatched the lovely photos of the Jil Sander runway from the gorgeous fashionista blogger Andy, who is based in Amsterdam. You can follow her on Style Scrapbook for the latest fashionable outings and street style inspirations in Europe!!!

I am head over heels for this collection. It’s all about bright colors, structure, and detailed prints!!!! I like how the make up isn’t too dramatic on the models, with just white pale faces against the shocking pink lips. This way, there is less going on with the face and more focus towards the vibrant dresses!!!
Normally i don’t really notice Lanvin and don’t ask why, it’s just one of those things, lol. But i was really drawn to their SS11 collection this time. I loved the drapery effect where it creates a look that is that much more feminine and sexy. The colors were more earthy tones and you can never go wrong with neutral colors, right? Afterall, it is one of fall’s best trend. And i abosolutely adore that beetle look alike accesory on the model. I’m not sure if it’s a brooch or necklace but never minds, it’s just pure gorgeous and pretty functional as an accesory piece.
So what did you think of Fashion Week? Which one/ones were your utter most favorite on the list?????
