October Love 2013

My first time to try liquid nitrogen ice cream, where i excitedly waited for my sea salt caramel ice cream as the fog slowly started flooding out from the ice cream blender. Getting my health back on track and starting my mornings with oatmeal mixed with fresh fruits, and drizzled with a bit of maple syrup. Enjoying a chilled Friday night at Wagyu Lounge over steak and wine for a dear friend’s birthday.

A belated joint birthday dinner for my friend and I at a cosy Italian restaurant, Assaggio Trattoria Italiana, where four girls enjoyed  a night of great food and company, and laughed the night away. Fell in love with theses lovely color blocking heels, which were calling my name to take them home and that’s just what i did. My lovely sister being ever as sweet and supplying me with my fave glossy fashion magazines.

The joys of discovering a new cupcake shop, Kisses Cupcakes, while going home from work. Each bite of the Baileys Chocolate cupcake was slowly savored while it lasted. Lazing on weekends while down with the flu and watching one of my fave old American series, Sex and the City. I have almost forgotten how good and funny SATC used to be. The peacefulness of enjoying lunch by myself,  as i ordered a Japanese pork ramen and gyoza (Japanese dumplings).

I am blessed for each and every day that was filled with love, fun, laughters, and sharing special moments with people i love and care for. You are my October Love 2013.

The “Sex and the City 2” ladies glam it up at the NYC premiere

Okay, so i havent seen SATC 2 yet but i couldnt stop but notice all these photos online of the four lovely ladies looking glammed up at their premieres. I have to say, they all looked absolutely stunning for the Sex and the City 2 world premiere night in New York City. They can never do it wrong, can they!?!!? I love how they carried different color tones for their dresses and all of them stood out.  If you ask me, i actually think SJP was one of the girls with the best outfits! The neon yellow is so fresh, bright, and stylish. Kim Cattrall was my least favorite. I mean, she looked glamorous but there was something about the color and pattern of her dress  that didnt really do it for me. What do you think?

As always, SJP draws attention on the red carpet and this time was no exception, with her eye catching yellow Valentino gown from the  Spring 2010 Couture collection . And the one sided off the shoulder strap was  soooo sexy yet still elegant. She really knows how to work it on the red carpet and she certainly knows how to get all the attention when she wants to!   

Kristin Davis looked so elegant and cute in this pink vintage frock by Jean Desses. I think it really suits her and shows off this girly but still sexy side to her.

Cynthia Nixon played it safe by going black and wore a classic looking Carolina Herrera gown. Its a safe color choice that still manages to carry the glamor factor. I really like this classic look and and how she added a diamond leaf brooch to give it that finished touch.

Kim Cattrall wore a glittery gown by Naeem Khan and i really think it didnt do much for her. It was still glamourous looking but i just didnt think much of it.  But i gotta give her credit for that plunging neckline of hers, which managed to carry some sex appeal  along with sophistication thrown in it.

Im back!!!

Yes i know i have disappeared for an entire month but its ok, im back now!!! I have just been going through some personal issue for the past month and it was a roller coaster, but i’m glad that its over. Unfortunately, this has also meant that my Europe trip has  been postponed until Julst 31st, which is soooo annoying.

Anyhow, i’m just giving a quick update to let you all know that i’m still alive and kicking, and that my blogging will be active again, and hopefully i’ll keep it going consistently!!!! I will try my very best to post more stuff later on but one thing for sure that has got me excited is……..Sex and the City 2! Yes, i know its out in the states already but as im in Hong Kong, i gotta wait for June 10!!!!  Oh well, i’ve waited this long so i’m sure that bit more of a wait won’t kill me, hehe.

The girls are back like you’ve never seen it before!!!

OMG, i was totally about to scream when i saw the trailer of Sex and the City 2 but i managed to control myself, and just smiled excessively to my monitor like a spaz. This is a movie enough to put me on an adrenaline rush from head to toe!!!  Biggest surprise of all, hot Adian is back!!! This time he accidently bumps into his old love Carrie, while the girls are in the ever so cultural Abu Dhabi for some girl time.  Then there’s my fav Mr. Big and his  face on temptation with sexy Penelope Cruz. I cant wait to watch this with my girls man!!! Im just wondering, is it true what Carrie says in the trailer?? Can amazing things really happen in two years? I guess i’ll just have to wait and see by 2012:)
